A message for teens

I found this link on the Focus on the Family web site. My favorite part:

“I understand that part. God fashioned her and brought her to Adam because it wasn’t good for him to be alone,” she said.

“Adam needed a helper,” I continued. We both smiled because Tanya told us that men need help, and we’re the helpers. “The important part, for me, is when God brought Eve to Adam and she was, well, you know . . .”

Stacie mouthed, “Naked.”

“Yeah, and Adam really liked that because God knew men would, and they still do.”

Stacie nodded. “So?”

“Guys are connected to what they see.”

“Very visual,” Stacie said, making quote marks in the air to show she was using Tanya’s exact words.

“Right. So, we need to be careful with what we wear because it might make them want us in a way they shouldn’t.”
